Six month review

the Florida Aquarium
Goofy kids
First day of 1st grade
Girls weekend with my sister, Michelle and cousin, Jaclyn.

So I have not been so good with the blogspot, but catch me on Facebook anytime.

The past six months have been fast and rewarding:

Nicolas successfully finished Kindergarten; began his Summer Brain Camp and again completed it with high scores; began 1st grade at a new school. Has grown about two inches and loves to swim. He also loves gymnastics, learning to read and going to the movies.

Natalie, what can I say! She is all three! Loves to play dress up, swim, paint her nails, ride her bike and play with her friends. She is tallest girl in her pre-school class.

Mom...we moved into our own place in April, got all of our stuff from storage, moved to a new job and love it. I started school in May to achieve my Paralegal (Legal Studies) degree. It is a 2 year program and I start my second semester next week.

We are all grateful to be happy and healthy, loved and cherished. All the best.

First Day of School

What a pair! Nic started his first day of Kindergarten. The teacher sent me a note saying that he fit right into the daily activities and had fun in Art class. Tomorrow we already have off because of Tropical Storm Fay. So I took the day off and we will be having our own "hurricane" party. Nat is thriving in her 2 year old pre-school. She has off as well, so we will be making rainy day brownies, hurricane fruit punch and "look-at-the-size-of-that-hail" popcorn. Not sure if school will be cancelled again on Wednesday; it depends on how slow the tropical storm is moving across the state. We are stocked up on the essential and ready to watch the rain feed our grass and retention ponds.

My new job is going well. I have been working as a Legal Assistant for a small firm here in town. There are only six of us in the office and it has a casual atmosphere. The office is preparing to hire a new associate and I am in charge of preparing for there arrival, i.e. new furniture, computer equipment, file readiness, etc. It is a good start for me as I come back into the work force. I like the hours and the people I work with. I just received my newest subscription to "Working Mother;" it has some great suggestions and ideas.

Still searching...

I do not know where my USB cable is and it is driving me crazy. I think I will have to break down and buy a new one.

The kids had there big party this past weekend and had an awesome time. We had a bounce house and a water slide. All 13 kids we had over played for four hours straight. Needless to say most went to bed a little early that night. Thanks to all my great and loving friends and family for making this day so special. I hope to have pictures up soon.

Happy Birthday, Nic

Today, my baby turned 5. How much fun I have had with you these past five years. I hope and pray that I continue to have fun and be loved by the sweetest boy.

We had a great day: two parties and Chuck E. Cheese. The "BIG" party is coming soon; we are waiting to celebrate Nic and Nat's birthday when dad is home. And only two weeks only daddy is home. I promise to have pictures soon. I have missed place the USB for the camera.
